Normec has been active in the Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) market since 2015. Through rapid acquisitions and sophisticated investments, Normec Group has grown to 57 companies in eight countries. There, more than 4,000 people work every day on TICC services for customers in 13 different industries and sectors. Normec helps quality managers in governments and enterprises with additional capabilities and quick access to TICC. An entrepreneurial vision they call the Window of Opportunities at Normec. Recognizable in the logo.
Challenge
Rapid growth not only required a clear brand positioning and a tightly directed brand identity. It also lacked a clear overview of Normec Group’s divisions, services and businesses and the industries it serves. Rapid growth was difficult to fit into the existing Web site. Combined with a new brand positioning and brand identity, it was time to also profile Normec Group online as an entrepreneurial party with TICC services and expertise.
Solution
In several sessions with marketing and online specialists from Normec Group, WADM functionally designed the new website. All page templates were set up as a wireframe to make access to Normec’s services and businesses as simple as possible. Because Normec Group is growing fast and substantially. Changes and additions of companies and services require a new website with a future-proof content management system. WADM developed the website in Statamic Flatfile CMS on the Laravel Framework with Tailwind CSS. A good foundation on which the back-end of the website can be easily and flexibly extended with content from multiple companies in multiple languages.
Impact
The simplified layout and listing of services, companies and industries makes the amount of services and expertise within the Normec Group quickly understandable and easily accessible. Also for search engines. Thanks to optimal scores in Google Lichthouse for SEO, as many Google searches as possible lead to the Normec Group website. And thanks to the latest front-end website techniques (best practices) like Tailwind CSS, the WADM developers easily keep all website code up-to-date and in optimal condition.
