Corporate website for foundation in construction

Project
Cementbouw was founded in 1933. A family business where – in the many years since it was founded – a lot has changed. Previously operating between Schagen and The Hague, this sales area has now expanded throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. With twenty locations where the constant quality of cement products for construction and infrastructure is central.
Approach
With such a new territory, a bilingual website had to be designed and developed. Mainly to fill the large shortage of personnel. A website that has the recruitment of new employees as a high priority. But also with regard to the existing staff, something had to change. They had to be proud of their organization again. The challenge lay in the fact that Cementbouw consists of four parts. Concrete mortar, Binders, Sand & Gravel and Recycling. They all operated almost independently of each other. Together with WADM this was brought into one whole. All those parts kept their own identity. But it did become one Cementbouw.

Insights
We made a number of important changes to the new website. To attract those new employees, a good careers page was a must. One where all vacancies were clearly displayed. And the enormous amount of downloadable files, which had to be placed in a well-arranged way. All documents such as declarations, certificates and agreements were given their own page. In a structured and clear manner.

Result
This resulted in a completely renewed website, which seamlessly matched the Cementbouw in 2019. These important changes have been successfully implemented, but in addition, visually, hard work has also been done. As for the ‘careers at’ page: since going live, the number of open vacancies has been reduced by 25%. And the existing staff? The pride is back.
