Rebranding for Berlin software developer Productsup
Project
Productsup, based in Berlin, is transforming the way product information is managed and optimized globally. With their Product-to-Consumer (P2C) platform, they serve top brands such as IKEA, Sephora and ALDI, optimizing two trillion products each month for more than 2,500 online sales channels.
Challenge
Productsup’s leadership position in the P2C market was not reflected in their brand identity and digital presence. The website struggled with unclear product descriptions, a confusing user experience and a visual style that was not eye-catching. These challenges required a thorough overhaul of both the website and overall brand identity.
Solution
In intensive Discovery sessions with Productsup’s team of Dutch web managers, product developers, German brand specialists and sales teams, WADM identified the brand’s unique characteristics. These insights formed the basis for a thorough redesign of the website, including a new functional design and improved navigation. WADM also brought a fresh visual identity into play, with more color and dynamic design elements, while maintaining the core of the brand. These changes were gradually implemented on the existing website.
Impact
The new website draws attention to Productsup’s expertise in the P2C category, allowing the company to strengthen its authority. New design elements such as digital water ripples and angled corners add visual flow and cohesion to Web pages. Striking colors and divider bars provide clear information layers, while new icons, photo edits and illustrations give Productsup a market-leading look. This updated visual identity and information flow are now being rolled out in sales presentations and social media outlets, firmly positioning Productsup as a leader in the P2C market.
