WADM and your privacy

We find it important that it is clear to everyone how we deal with personal data, so you can trust that your data is in good hands with us. In this Privacy & Cookie Policy we have listed how we deal with personal data.

What is personal data?

Personal data is any information that can be traced directly or indirectly to you as a person. In a typical business relationship, this includes your name and e-mail address, but also your phone number and possibly your address and date of birth. Everything that is done with these personal data, we call ‘processing’. The legal meaning of the term ‘processing’ is broad and includes, among other things:

  • The collection
  • storing
  • consulting
  • using, but also
  • the deletion of personal data.

From whom do we process personal data?

We process personal data of persons with whom we want to have, have or have had a direct or indirect relationship. For example:

  • (Potential) contacts of organizations that we consider our customers, suppliers or (otherwise) business relations;
  • Visitors to our websites.

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

WADM, in full Waal aan de Maas b.v., is the party responsible for processing personal data.

What do we process your personal data for?

We process your personal data for the following purposes, for each purpose we have included a number of examples of processing:

1. To establish and maintain a relationship with you.

If you, or the organization you represent, want to become a customer with us, we need personal data from you. This also applies if you, or the organization you represent, want to become our supplier; or in case you apply for a job with us and want to work or do a traineeship with us, we also need personal data from you.

2. To advise us and to be able to carry out marketing activities

To be able to serve you well as a contact person (and the organization you represent) and to offer the most optimal support in strategic communication, we process data for marketing activities, among other things. For example, we may inform you by telephone or e-mail about our products and services.

No longer than necessary

We do not process more data than necessary for the purposes as stated. We also do not keep your personal data longer than necessary.

With whom do we share your data?

In some cases we share your personal data with INLINE (digital agency) or HECX (sales agency). With these three companies we have joined forces to improve your business. If you are a customer of one of these three companies, it may well be that a cooperation with one of the other companies is in your best interest. Of course only with your approval.

Your personal data may be shared with third parties. For some activities we use contractors/external systems. Examples are (digital) printers, photographers or mail systems. We only use contractors who have taken appropriate security measures to protect your personal data. In addition, they must guarantee confidentiality. They are also not allowed to use your personal data for their own marketing activities.

How do we guarantee your privacy?

We consider privacy to be of paramount importance. We have a Privacy Officer who supervises compliance with the privacy regulations and protection. The Privacy Officer is the central point of contact for both the organization and the regulator. We also have employees who are responsible for the security of our IT infrastructure in general, and with respect to the AVG in particular. All our employees have signed up for confidentiality. And we ensure that only employees who are required to do so because of their job duties process your personal data.

What rules apply to the processing of personal data?
